May 1st, 2021, Full Circle Farm Therapeutic Horsemanship is hosting a Run for the Roses.
Participants can walk/run virtually or at Full Circle Farm. They will complete as many 1.25-mile “laps” (the length of Kentucky Derby Track) as they can that day.
Participants can walk/run at Full Circle Farm from 9am to 12pm. Or they can walk/run their own track or a combination of at the farm and at home.
At the end of the day participants will report how many laps they completed.
Cost to participate: $20 for individuals, $40 for groups of 3 or more who walk/run together.
As an option individuals and groups can get pledges from donors. The funds raised will go directly towards scholarships for Full Circle Farm Therapeutic Horsemanship riders.
Prizes will be awarded to the individual and group who completes the most laps and the individual and group who raise the most money. All participants who raise over $30 will receive a rose. Sponsors/Donors can pledge funds for money per lap or a flat amount.
Please sign up by Wednesday April 28, 2021 by emailing email@example.com. Participants will turn in all funds by May 7, 2021 Winners will be announced May 11th, 2021.
Update! We have added a Run for the Roses Hat Contest! Submit your photos of your remote walk/run head wear or wear your best derby hat to the farm! Winner will receive maple syrup form Harding Hill Farm!
UPDATE 4/30/21 – Wear shoes that can withstand some wet conditions! Its been raining for ages but there is SUN in the forecast tomorrow!!! YEA!!!!
